Who is Dale Carnegie?

I recently visited my Dad and stumbled upon the book titled, “How to Win Friends and Influence People” written by Dale Carnegie. It was a much earlier version of the book published in the 1960s although the book was first published in 1936. One of the simple lessons in “winning friends and influencing people” that I learnt from the book was … “ALWAYS MAKE THE OTHER PERSON FEEL IMPORTANT.” Over 70 years later and with over 15 Million copies of the book sold, people are still reading the book because it delivers many truths about how relationships around us still matter and there are always better ways to manage those relationships and network.
